GARDEN OF THE BROOK

Hidden in a dell besides and old country road lies an enchanted Vermont farmscape. Rich in history, it emanates nostalgia from every root and runnel. Copses of mature apple trees rolick through flower meadows. Stacked stones recall the castles of Scotland and trickling rivulets bring to mind faraway English rills. Plantings abound, filling each corner with color, intrigue, and botanical interest, and bees and butterflies dance to the perpetual tinkling soundscape of a nearby brook. It is vibrant with life and energy throughout, a sculpture of stone, water, and plant. I call it the Garden of the Brook.
